How is your Product licensed?
Our license model is based on a single Key variable: the number of trials you want to handle through the Portal. This simple model allows you to start with a single Study and avoid high upfront costs. Because we know as much as you do, that if you don’t accomplish a significant ROI, you will not be happy with the Product.
What does your license fee include?
Everything. There are no hidden costs. You pay a monthly fee (based in the number of Studies) which includes all costs. Study-Portal is licensed based on the SAAS model, so we take care of Hosting the Portal, we Backup your data, and upgrade the software whenever necessary. The only additional cost we have is a one-time installation fee.
We are a CRO, if we use your Clinical Investigator Portal, do we need to have separate installations (and licenses) per Sponsor?
No, both Users and all other information is assigned to Projects. So you can create separate sets of Users per Sponsor and link them to all Projects of that Sponsor.
Same for Study Documents. You can specify that all Documents of Sponsor A are (only) to be used in all Projects of Sponsor A. And then similar for all Documents of Sponsor B.
Can we include our own application into your Portal and resell to our clients?
Yes, the Portal can be used as ‘White Label’ Product. So you can have the portal hosted on your own domain name and adjusted to your own Company style and colors. This would allow you to sell the Portal, including your own services, to your clients as ‘your’ product. We have special price arrangements for this type of usage.
Do you have educational discounts?
Yes, we do allow discount for academic or not-for-profit organisations.
Do I need to pay more when I exceed a certain number of Users?
No, the only relevant variable is the number of projects, not the number of Users or the size of your Project. The only exception is the amount disk space for a Project. We have a Fair Use Policy, so we normally allow 10Gb of disk space per Project.
What if a Study is cancelled or Early Terminated?
We don’t want you to pay for something you are not using. So our contracts allow to upgrade or downsize on a monthly basis.
